Maverick is both our newest and youngest member of the CVTRS herd! Maverick is a 15.2 hand high paint/draft horse cross. Born in 2018, Mav was actually bred to be a rodeo bucking horse, but he was far to sweet natured and quiet to ever even think of bucking his rider off! Instead, Maverick went to a dear friend of the Society’s, and under her care became a lovely and gentle giant. CVTRS purchased him in the summer of 2024. Mav will be taking it slow and learning all the ropes this year, so keep an eye out for him in classes as he begins to learn his new job!
