Max is a palomino Haflinger gelding that was donated to us by Liz Stubbs a volunteer that has been with us for 20 years. Max so very good with our independent riders. He is so cheeky that only some volunteers want to lead him. His favorite job is Vaulting and he is super at it.

Licorice is a black and white pinto pony standing at 14.2hh and is truly what a therapeutic riding horse should be. She came to us 14 years ago at the age of 6 and fit right in. Licorice loves the little kids and has even been used for vaulting. The true beauty of her is that every time you take her out of the stall you have the same horse. She is our official face of our program.

Huey our bay gelding with just a touch of blue in one eye is our senior horse in the barn but is one of the favorites to both riders and volunteers alike. He is so careful with our littlest riders but can challenge our independent riders. He is very schooled and has done horse shows and well as competitive trail rides in his younger

Dawn is a Norwegian Fjord mare that at 14.1hh is a pony. She has been leased to us and with her height and width helps our riders that may not be able to get a leg around another wider horse. Her favorite job is pulling a carriage with her owner at the reins.

Black Beauty our Welsh pony is great for our little riders that need extra aid when riding. Being shorter helps our volunteers to give that aid with out having to reach. Like all ponies she complains but always is good in the classes.

Normis is the youngest and the tallest standing at 16.3hh and is a thoroughbred - clydesdale cross. He has been with us for 3 years now and is in training to be our new vaulting horse. Norm is doing very well with his new job and even does some of our riding classes.

Tiara is a 23 year old Buckskin Quarter horse mare that is new to our program this year. She has had a very successful career as a roping horse in rodeos from Canada to Texas. Tiara is very trained and seems to love the riders. Her owner has generously leased her to our program.

Tess is a 14 year old beautiful black Quarter horse mare that is leased to us this year. Tess had a lot of training when she was young but the last few years she has been a Mom. Her owner thought that she needed a new career and so far she is loving all the attention.

Red is a chestnut gelding standing at 15.3hh is 7 years old and although young is well behaved with the riders. He is used for both independent and assisted riders as well as lessons for our instructors in training. Red is a very gentle horse that loves to be brushed and hugged.
